Corsica Estates at King Has It All

The City of King is situated on the Oak Ridges Moraine — a famed geological formation created by a retreating glacier. This revered location is home to CountryWide Homes’ newest estate development — Corsica Estates at King.

The densely forested landscape of King City, which is reminiscent of the mountainous terrain of the isle of Corsica, provides the perfect setting for this Mediterranean-inspired development.

With only 40 splendid lots, ranging from 57 to 90 feet wide and depths of up to 200 feet, Corsica will become CountryWide’s most exclusive estate development yet. The portfolio of homes range in size from 4,900 to 6,700 square feet, and will feature a new series of designs influenced by French, Italian and English architecture. This Corsican series of homes will include huge picture windows, and peaked and gabled roofs with copper accents, in addition to European-style eaves troughs — all providing a sense of volume and old- world authenticity to the facades.

Spacious courtyards and lookout terraces will lead to sumptuous interiors, while rear-yard covered loggias (some with floor-to-ceiling fireplaces and outdoor kitchens) will offer the perfect setting for those who enjoy entertaining guests in style. Step inside to the grandeur of large foyers where you’ll find expansive ceilings in a variety of styles, including cathedral, coffered and waffle, combined with other fine mouldings.

Stunning gourmet kitchens with professional-grade appliances, complemented by full-height cabinetry and oversized granite or quartz islands, will allow your family and guests to convene while you prepare delicious culinary delights.

Visit CountryWide Homes’ 6,500- square-foot showroom to gain an appreciation for the standard features that come in every home — often equivalent to those found in custom homes.

Once you’ve decided to purchase a Corsican home, you’ll meet your personal design consultant who will work with you to gain an understand- ing of your lifestyle needs and desires, and assist you with selecting from the thousands of options available.

Prior to the physical construction of the home, you’ll be welcomed back for a structural appointment. At this time you will, once again, meet with the design consultant and the architect, if necessary. During this stage, structural needs such as electrical, plumbing, layout enhancements, moulding, trim, windows, doors, stone, etc. will be reviewed with you. Everything that deals with the structural elements or shell of the home will be covered, which can be very difficult to change once under construction, will be covered.

During the construction phase, you’ll be scheduled back to discuss and select your features and finishes. By this time, the design consultant has a good idea of what you are looking for. This deep understanding allows the consultant to successfully help you to select everything from the kitchen cabinetry to the faucets, tiles, granite, paint, flooring, pickets and more.

If you want to enjoy the luxury of living amongst the serenity and peace- fulness of the countryside, while being close to Highway 400 and King City GO transit for easy access to the GTA, then Corsica is the community for you.
